The Portrait Academy featuring Chris Saper will be held in
Bradley Hall at the Academy of Art University for the third
year in a row. On Friday evening, artists will gather in a
lecture hall setting to watch as Chris Saper demonstrates
her approach to the portrait and figure. On Saturday, 30 attendees
will gather to paint from models with Saper's instruction
in a more intimate environment from 9:00am-4:00pm. Attendees
will then have an opportunity to have their portfolios reviewed
from 4:00p-5:00p.
Members can sign up for the Friday demonstration for $35 or
for the workshop, which includes the Friday demonstration
for $159. Scholarships are available for high school and college
students for the Friday demonstration.
